Main Purpose of the Clothing Production Technology Program
The Clothing Production Technology Program aims to train qualified Textile Technicians who have technical knowledge regarding the textile and ready-to-wear sector and can take part in production processes. At the technician level, to be able to train expert Textile Technicians who can use sewing machines; who can design computer-aided patterns with the accumulation of vocational courses such as style, model application, product shaping; and who can manufacture and assemble clothing pieces with cutting and sewing manufacturing methods.

The Clothing Production Technology Program aims to provide its students with professional competence by offering educational activities that follow scientific and technological developments and are suitable for sectoral requirements.
General Information About the Clothing Production Technology Program
Within the scope of the two-year associate degree education, theoretical and applied vocational courses as well as general culture courses are provided. The program trains technical personnel in line with the expectations of the sector by offering application-oriented education with its expert academic staff and garment and pattern design workshops.
Students gain competence in the fields of design, planning, production, marketing and management within the framework of the curriculum; they develop their professional skills with courses, projects and workshops. In addition, a mandatory 30-day industrial internship allows them to gain sectoral experience and to put their theoretical knowledge into practice. Graduates can be employed in different departments of the garment and ready-to-wear sector in line with the knowledge and skills they acquire.
